My lecture took place on June 18th, 2009, in Bad Wörishofen.

Leadership during a crisis means conveying credibility and creating trust. This includes discretion, honesty, reliability, openness, and the consistency of thinking and acting.

There is a storm brewing if I, as a manager, fail to set the direction and be a role model. This includes strengthening the feeling of security and stability in times of change. It also includes humane and fair dealings. After all, I also must involve my employees in decisions and maintain good communication. In this way I can develop sustainable visions and celebrate successes with the employees.

It was a great lecture „There’s a storm brewing“ with good discussions afterwards!
