or the human being
It’s about thinking about when and in which situation I need what?
The focus is on the product
Unfortunately, I often find in companies that a lot of innovation, strategies and ideas about the product are being considered. It is about the right choice of location or the necessary suppliers. Or it is about the investments that are necessary for machines and materials. It’s about design drawings, processing methods and process steps. Unfortunately, this is not about the people who work or assemble the product.
The focus is on the person
But what if the focus is too much on humans? It is good to think about human interaction. To ask one, what inner attitude do I need to contribute to good togetherness? It’s also about the question: “What does that mean?” What if we only think about how we communicate or handle conflicts (which is good), but forget that on the other hand there are also customers who want to be served! Of course it is important to grow together as a team. But what if only the fun is in the foreground?
The focus is on the product, the person and the customer
It is important to find a “both as well“.
So it has to be about the product as well as the people as well as the customers. At the same time we have to think about what we expect from each other and what we need for a good deal. Then we ask ourselves the question for whom we do it, in what form and with what result! It follows from that the next step, the realization of what I myself as a person and employee contribute to it. And then of course I have to put up with the question which competences I own.
If we get this holistic view, then we experience security. Safety not only in the company’s existence, but also in cooperation!
